I've posted here before about our Scala efforts at Bookish. In the coming months we will be building out our novel (pun intended) reading platform, innovative take on the recommendation engine, and a set of public API's in support of our fall public launch and beyond. As pk11 moves on to join TypSafe (congrats Peter!) we are looking to grow the team immediately with FT or contract-to-permanent. If you're passionate about search, Akka, Scala, Mongo, Postgres, and books, please reach out to me. I'd love to talk.

See you at the next meetup.
