It's going to be a big one, I look forward to talking about and possibly demoing numeroom.com when I am there.

Who attended?

  • 775 attendees
    •  Great presentations, cool products, wonderful people.
    •  I thought it was, but it was my first one.
    •  Awesome!
    • Bill Keller (+1 guest)
I'm still amazed they manage to keep the presentations moving right along. Very well organized.
    •  Maybe some type of better social hour after?...this way people could talk indepth about what they saw...the front area is a bit difficult with everyone crowding around.....what about putting the exhibitors after?
    •  This was my first meetup. But I enjoyed speaking with people about their businesses just as much as the presentations (which were xlnt btw). Have you ever given thought to having an official bar after the official meetup? I am sure a nightclub would open its doors to 200 people for a drink at an hour they typically don't operate.
    •  The demos were really exceptional this month, and I enjoyed the Q&A at the end too. (Perhaps a bit too much rambling from the organizer though? Talking is fine, but prepare it and make it to the point.)
    •  one of the best NY Tech Meetups I've attended over the last few years; outstanding selection of cos; very well run
    •  Thanks to all the presenters and attendees. Great stuff!
    •  Hi NYTM, This is by far one of the best NYMeetups, with @jasoncalacanis and @heif. Thanks Nate and NYTM team! Through halfway, though, I thought it was overshadowed by too much a of a political veil. It's a great new dimension to explore, and perhaps could be the mission for the NYTM organization at its core, but I still would love a pure-play scrutiny of new and exciting projects in the NYC community! Best, Ray @raymond_wu
    •  It was a really great atmosphere and there was a real buzz at this event that I didn't necessarily notice at the others I attended. Nate was excellent.
    •  Impressive demos, good presenters. Nice turn-out. Despite the down economy, innovation is thriving in Silicon Alley!
    •  The best yet!
    •  Excellent event!

Another awesome meetup! The presentations were stellar.
    •  I've been to many meet-ups, when there were about a thousand of us in the community, and there's been some pretty sad ones amongst the brilliance. But this last meet-up reminded me of NYC circa 1998. There was a lot of creativity and imagination in the products. The tone of meeting was exciting. The pre-meet-up of viewing all the start-ups was a great way to meet everyone and learn what people are up to. I can't wait for the next one!
    •  Excellent lineup of startups. MakerBot brought the fun back.
    • sven patrick larsen (+2 guests)
Some great presentations but little to no networking opportunities
    •  Truly a moving experience in high technology growth!
    •  a great line up - a great job by nate and scott!!! kudos to the team ...
    •  Loved this meeting (my first). I like the 5 min quick present format, and the fact that organizer gave presenters some leeway. While many presenters impressed, NYsenate.gov was most impressive, given the potential impact it will have on state government policy.
    •  The Tech Showcase before the meetup was the big draw, it should be a regular thing held every month. We sure seem to have no shortage of NY Tech companies willing to show what they are working on, it would also be a great mini presentation of works in progress by startups that have yet to do a formal stage presentation with the meetup. I look forward to attending a showcase for my startup numeroom.com and doing a presentation. Great stuff for the NY Tech community!
    • Max Kalehoff (+2 guests)
       Great, job, Nate! Awesome job!!!
    •  Really good group of presenters. People hosting we're entertaining instead of negative this time.
    •  As usual, an excellent event with great speakers
    •  I had already seen several of the presenters at the earlier Internet Week expo, so some of it seemed redundant. The UpNext app for the iPhone is amazing.
    •  Awesome demos and companies. Truly felt pumped when I left.
    • Sean Black (+1 guest)
       Great presenters!
    • Robert Clark (+1 guest)
The Demo Pit was tremendous - great opportunity to speak with everyone. The meetup in the auditorium was excellent .....would be even better if a networking, mingling area was available and part of the program.
    •  Nate should speed up the intro transitions between demos. A cheap KVM switch will let one person demo and another plugin at the same time.
    •  The June Meetup was a blast! Nate and others, thank you so much for putting on a great event! - @kubalek
    •  It was great - really interesting presentations, well run and highly entertaining.
    •  Dude, too many ummm's! But looking like a stoner is fine.
    •  This was my first meeting and I was inspired by the passion of the audience and the presenters. I look forward to future events and getting to know more members of the community...
    •  Great innovation. Supportive community. Fantastic to see creative minds at work.
    •  I thought the meeting was great. The companies that presented were each of great caliber. My ONLY request is for the ability to network in addition to the presentation - something that was impossible in the theater-style seating.
    •  Very good presenters Good vibe.
