“ This was my first meetup. But I enjoyed speaking with people about their businesses just as much as the presentations (which were xlnt btw). Have you ever given thought to having an official bar after the official meetup? I am sure a nightclub would open its doors to 200 people for a drink at an hour they typically don't operate. ”

“ The demos were really exceptional this month, and I enjoyed the Q&A at the end too. (Perhaps a bit too much rambling from the organizer though? Talking is fine, but prepare it and make it to the point.) ”

Through halfway, though, I thought it was overshadowed by too much a of a political veil. “ I've been to many meet-ups, when there were about a thousand of us in the community, and there's been some pretty sad ones amongst the brilliance. But this last meet-up reminded me of NYC circa 1998. There was a lot of creativity and imagination in the products. The tone of meeting was exciting. The pre-meet-up of viewing all the start-ups was a great way to meet everyone and learn what people are up to. I can't wait for the next one! ”

“ Loved this meeting (my first). I like the 5 min quick present format, and the fact that organizer gave presenters some leeway. While many presenters impressed, NYsenate.gov was most impressive, given the potential impact it will have on state government policy. ”

“ The Tech Showcase before the meetup was the big draw, it should be a regular thing held every month. We sure seem to have no shortage of NY Tech companies willing to show what they are working on, it would also be a great mini presentation of works in progress by startups that have yet to do a formal stage presentation with the meetup.
