    •  Good event - smart people - interesting companies
    •  Sweet event. Thanks for all the great feedback everyone!

       too much powerpoint this time
    •  I feel like we have come to a 1:3 ratio of good ideas vs weird/odd ideas
    •  The presentations were not that great. Have we tapped out?
    • John Hui (+1 guest)
The quality of the presenters have improved a lot. I wish the meeting up provides more time for networking.
    •  This was my first meetup. Was expecting a lot of techies..but its interesting to see a lot of PR, investors and others @ the meetup
    •  Thought the presenters chosen this time were great!! Excellent presentations.
    • Chip Welsh (+1 guest)
The first speaker was terrible....should have ben filtered out!
    • Damion Hankejh (+1 guest)
Some good presentations ? others should perhaps practice a 10/10/30 Rule of PowerPoint: 10-slides, 10-minutes and 30-point font. Presenters are already running overtime, talking too fast and conveying too little. See Guy Kawasaki?s 10/20/30 R.O.P. post: http://blog.guyka...
    •  Not the strongest set of demos
    •  Give them a few more minutes!!!!
    • John Boyd (+1 guest)
I enjoyed the meeting. The great thing about these NY Tech meetings is not only the presentations, but also the amount of talent and synergy sitting in the same room at the same time. Therefore, I think it would be useful at the end of the meeting to ask interested participants falling into certain categories to hang out for 15 minutes afterwards in certain sections of room. For example, programmers/developers looking for projects stand in one corner of the room (or alternatively, participants looking for programmers/developers stand in a group); entrepreneurs looking for funding stand in that corner; service providers/consultants (e.g., marketers, attorneys, etc.) seeking clients stand in that corner; etc. This will allow participants to seek the people they need or are interested in speaking with. Regards, JB
    •  The sound quality of the speakers was poor and microphones sounded like they were broken!
    •  It was my first event and I enjoyed it. It felt a little short to me (I would have liked a few more presentations).
    •  Interesting presentations, tho the first presenter was terrible. Did not explain what he was trying to do and sounded like a shyster with his incubator talk. Anyone can slap up a Web site as a gathering place for an industry. Why would anyone go to this one?
