I finally got into this event! - Michael J. Feigin, Esq. [masked]; Independent Patent and Trademark Attorney. (I would also be happy to present something on obtaining domestic or worldwide Patents & Trademarks).

Who attended?

  • 364 attendees
    •  That clothing store that the chick presented had nothing innovative. That was a completely useless presentation which shouldn't have been selected. If anything she should have been Boooed offf stage.
    •  the most memorable line was "don't touch the windows." always fun to be in an over-booked space, and very good presentations! Good to catch up with friends.
    •  Good event
    •  Presentation were disappointing. Pre-canned videos like the ones for iminlikewithyou are only a slicker version of powerpoint
    •  This one...not so good. I saw no new technology. TableXchange was an interesting idea, but it wasn't new technology. Most of the speakers didn't even demonstrate a new USE of existing technology.
    •  I wish there would be more time to discuss after the presentation. Also a vending machine, a bar or more botles of water would be great.
    •  think there should be more of a theme around the tech being showcased
    •  great space, hard to hear audience questions
    •  I would seriously like to know what about the Gilt Groupe is consider "New Technology". Have the organizers not heard of woot.com?
    •  Interesting range of presenters. I liked the fact that they allowed time for the USFirst folks to present. A worthy cause indeed.
    •  Unfortunately, the lineup really killed this meetup for me. I am eager to see innovation being praised and discussed by the NY tech community. I did appreciate Scott's public recognition of the situation and there were definitely some fun and interesting highlights.
    •  Overall good presentations, some slightly tedious
    •  This was my first time attending a NY Tech Meetup, and now I'll dread ever missing an event. What an incredible opportunity to get a glimpse into the start-up community here in New York.
    •  great presenters. great host. especially love the more candid moments - too few moderators are able to assertively keep the energy up and moving. could have watched ten more presentations.
    •  The moderator was rather brutish.
    •  Thanks for the opportunity to demo. We realize now that we didn't have a chance to cover the "the pain" of using email for group communication. We've posted some info on our blog for those interested: http://www.fromth... Thanks again,
    •  Good mix of businesses presenting. Good format (short, etc.). What is missing is stimulus for meeting more people. The request that people take 3 minutes in the middle to meet the people sitting next to them was great. I am not sure what the answer here is (I'll brainstorm), but more ideas like that would be welcome.
    •  The event was good. Would like to see more people present more on technology. New Tech ideas is what i would like to see.
    •  It should have more of the presenter and less of the host.
