It's going to be a big one, I look forward to talking about and possibly demoing numeroom.com when I am there.

The Demo Pit was tremendous - great opportunity to speak with everyone. The meetup in the auditorium was excellent .....would be even better if a networking, mingling area was available and part of the program.
  • Jon Williams
Loved this meeting (my first). I like the 5 min quick present format, and the fact that organizer gave presenters some leeway. While many presenters impressed, NYsenate.gov was most impressive, given the potential impact it will have on state government policy.

    Great presenters!

Impressive demos, good presenters. Nice turn-out. Despite the down economy, innovation is thriving in Silicon Alley!

I've been to many meet-ups, when there were about a thousand of us in the community, and there's been some pretty sad ones amongst the brilliance. But this last meet-up reminded me of NYC circa 1998. There was a lot of creativity and imagination in the products. The tone of meeting was exciting. The pre-meet-up of viewing all the start-ups was a great way to meet everyone and learn what people are up to. I can't wait for the next one!

Maybe some type of better social hour after?...this way people could talk indepth about what they saw...the front area is a bit difficult with everyone crowding around.....what about putting the exhibitors after?
  • Corey H Maass
Really good group of presenters. People hosting we're entertaining instead of negative this time.

Hi NYTM, This is by far one of the best NYMeetups, with @jasoncalacanis and @heif. Thanks Nate and NYTM team! Through halfway, though, I thought it was overshadowed by too much a of a political veil. It's a great new dimension to explore, and perhaps could be the mission for the NYTM organization at its core, but I still would love a pure-play scrutiny of new and exciting projects in the NYC community! Best, Ray @raymond_wu

The Tech Showcase before the meetup was the big draw, it should be a regular thing held every month. We sure seem to have no shortage of NY Tech companies willing to show what they are working on, it would also be a great mini presentation of works in progress by startups that have yet to do a formal stage presentation with the meetup. I look forward to attending a showcase for my startup numeroom.com and doing a presentation. Great stuff for the NY Tech community!
  • Eric Leebow
    Excellent event!
  • Steven Lehrburger
The demos were really exceptional this month, and I enjoyed the Q&A at the end too. (Perhaps a bit too much rambling from the organizer though? Talking is fine, but prepare it and make it to the point.)
  • David Oliver
As usual, an excellent event with great speakers
  • Kevin Bluer
    The best yet!
  • Aaron Gothelf
    Awesome!

    Great, job, Nate! Awesome job!!!
  • John Vasko
It was a really great atmosphere and there was a real buzz at this event that I didn't necessarily notice at the others I attended. Nate was excellent.
  • Tim Dumbleton
It was great - really interesting presentations, well run and highly entertaining.
  • Pinku Surana
Nate should speed up the intro transitions between demos. A cheap KVM switch will let one person demo and another plugin at the same time.
  • Rob Monroe
This was my first meeting and I was inspired by the passion of the audience and the presenters. I look forward to future events and getting to know more members of the community...
  • Yaniv Sneor
I thought the meeting was great. The companies that presented were each of great caliber. My ONLY request is for the ability to network in addition to the presentation - something that was impossible in the theater-style seating.
  • Panos Ipeirotis
Excellent lineup of startups. MakerBot brought the fun back.
  • Jamie Hamilton
Dude, too many ummm's! But looking like a stoner is fine.
