January 2014 NY Tech Meetup

Join fellow technologists for an evening of live demos from companies developing great technology in New York.

Please note: In order to help accommodate the high demand for seats, if you've purchased a ticket, your seat will be held until 7:20 p.m. the night of the event. After that, we will consider you a no show, and may release your seat to someone waiting to get in.

Can't make it to the meetup? You can watch the video stream, provided by the folks at MLB Advanced Media right HERE at http://atmlb.com/1i28cbd!

Also my first time. What great concepts being presented last night - I had a blast. I hope Oscar rewrite the rules on the insurance co's here........their bedside manner is horrible. All the other presenters were awesome also.

This was my 1st NYTM and the evening's program exceeded expectations. I especially liked the "Alumni" concept to see works as they evolve and Alex Berke's hack is really great!

why are we charging for the event?

    January 7, 2014

    • A former member
      A former member

Because it encourages people to commit to going and covers expenses.

      January 7, 2014

    • Jessica L.

Peter's response is correct. The main reason is that theater costs a significant amount to rent each month and we need to cover those expenses. It also does result in a higher attendance rate vs. free events which ensures that we don't end up with no shows and empty seats that could have gone to people who wanted to come.

Change of plans tonight and have 2 for sale! Must be sold together as I only have 1 ticket with quantity of 2 on there. email: tomgsjoberg at gmail
