Re: [newtech-1] Microsoft's consumer brand is dying

I equate Ballmer to Democracy.
Outside of that metaphor, I think the man is?genius?and probably has more stress than some presidents of other countries.

I make the following link: ?Microsoft = The United States of America because of enterprise and end-user penetration (Microsoft runs the US and people's lives), and everything in terms of?Intellectual?property and other tangibles.

Who is the largest target in the world? The United States of America.

If Ballmer runs for president, he has my vote.

Microsoft has lost its visionary. ?This is something every startup will eventually go through. ?This includes Apple, Google, etc.

How well the company does going through and after this transition may vary, but usually things don't go well for a while as the organization works on catching its bearings and aligns itself with a core set of values that are not personified in a single individual.

Personally, I don't think Ballmer has done badly. ?He's had a tougher fight that Gates I believe, and things are only getting much more competitive.

How cool would it be if AAPL and MSFT swaped execs for 1 year?!

Picture is not related to my question/statement.
