BarCamp NYC Sponsorship

Last week, I wrote to you all about BarCampNYC3, taking place on March 15 & 16 at PolyTech. I hope you all have gotten a chance to RSVP (link below).

This note, however, is about sponsorship. Sponsorship is a community activity for BarCamp, and the only way we can insure the conference stays FREE. There are several costs associated with getting a space and holding a conference in NYC -- security, A/V, food, and conference t-shirts, to name a few -- and these costs get covered and the conference remains free ONLY when community?members -- especially local businesses -- step up and donate to the cause.

To donate now, and to learn more, visit:

So far (as of two days ago), the following companies and individuals have donated:

- PassportParties
- BricaBox
- AngelSoft
- Artific Consulting

We need more sponsors! So step up to the plate and support a free conference for more than 200 people! Visit the BarCamp wiki and donate today!
