Thanks Tony! I will research that option. In the meantime, I'm still surprised that there isn't a plugin that will let you assign a certain nav menu to each page.

There are multi-language plug-ins that should allow you to switch between languages.

If you are looking to implement separate navs on two different pages, then you'll have to create two page templates. For example, english-post.php and spanish-post.php (and other templates, like english-single-post.php). Then, you go into the WordPress Navigation menu in the Dashboard, where you can create multiple navs. You'll then have to pull the ID of each nav menu you create at the top of your post all and single post pages, category landing pages, etc...etc..

I'd charge about $5K just to build all that out, because it would take a while, given the various page templates that need to be created for every scenario. It's a lot of work. You can simply swap languages with a click.

Has anyone on the list created a wordpress site that has 2 separate navigation bars? Where one is used on certain pages and the other on certain pages.

What i did was create a site with five pages and then created five more of the same content but translated to another language. Then i created a new menu where the page titles are in the other language. Now i just need to get the translated  nav bar to show only on the translated pages.

I'm hoping there is a way!

Any help is appreciated
