NY Latinos for Obama Web Site

Hi there-
This is my first post to the NY tech group--although I have been a member for over 6 month now.
As someone who does not write html or use dreamweaver--I'm a marketer, not a techie-- where can I get the easiest interface to build a site for a grassroots is still modular enough to allow for all sorts of cool ad-ins--placing viral tags, embeddable video, toggle between English and Spanish, enabling people to sign up for newsletters, twitter, etc. Does such a program exist?
I tried the google site app and it is incredibly ugly. If anyone can point me to an attractive site that uses google site app I might be swayed. I reserved the domain through godaddy but also find their interface to be unbelievably cluttered.
Also, if you all have beta programs that you think we might be a good audience for, please let me know--I'm open to all kinds of ideas and advice.
Thanks in advance for the feedback.
