Wifi SSID Ad Campaign

The Election Primaries are coming to an end.
I would like to start a campaign for the Presidential Candidate for the Democratic Party in a subtle but no cost way to promote the candidate.
My idea involves having everyone who is a registered democrat and has a Wireless router to rename the SSID on their routers to be something like "VOTE NAME OF PERSON or "NAME OF PERSON_2008" and make it open so that anytime anyone connects anywhere such routers maybe available they can get to see the campaign and be reminded.
Someone I know had go to canvas on Tuesday last in Philadelphia and stated that there were plenty of people they met who were not even aware of the primaries being held that day ( sad but true).
So is this feasible, worthwhile and will people be willing to do something along these lines.
