I'm working on an app that will use rsync to do the uploading of files to a number of servers, and I now need to expand its functionality. Two of the things I want to add is:
In order to do these, I need a list of the error codes that rsync returns; the only one that I know for sure is that if the upload is successful, rsync returns 0 :)
Does anyone know where I can get a comprehensive list of error codes/error messages returned by rsync? Thanks in advance.

- if the file you want to upload is in a subfolder on the local machine that does not exist on the remote machine, rsync should report this to the front-end as an error (and perhaps prompt you with the option "Do you want to create the subfolder on the remote machine?")
- any error that results from using rsync should be reported as an error to the front-end
