Soul & Leroy,

Apple needed to partner with "someone" in order to make this happen on
their terms if at all. If Apple had not paved the way for creating a
phone with a manufacturer supplied and controlled environment (which
Verizon did NOT agree to allow) there would be no iPhone and then who
would that Android have had to copy from? Microsoft? People make it a
habit to let Apple innovate and create new opportunities and then
steal them. I can't wait for Apple to sue the pants off of anyone who
makes an android phone that borrows too much from what they created. I
didn't see a good clear picture but from what I saw the full screen
android looked EXACTLY like Apple's iPhone and while iPhones design
may seem obvious in hindsight that's only because Apple made it so.
Noone seems to recall that everyone thought a phone without a qwerty
keyboard couldn't function. BIG RISK from Apple but now that it works
it seems obvious.

If it wasn't that AT&T allowed Apple the amount of control they needed
you wouldn't have iPhones at all, but now that it works you're upset
because AT&T wants to profit from their decision to allow the
manufacturer complete interface control. I swear you people should
still be stuck using DOS- no mice, no GUI, no color screens. Obviously
you don't feel compelled to support the companies that took huge
investment gambles to bring them to you, all you care about is cheaper
and faster.

PS: When the software you downloaded for your Android phone locks you
up and bricks your phone and you can't make or receive calls, don't
call on Apple, and when you call Google for help, they won't be able
to help so they'll tell you to contact Nokia who will blame the
software company you got your phone app from, but when you call the
company who sold you the software tells you it's not them it's google
(after 12 days of waiting for a machine generated email because they
have no phone number), go buy an iPhone on the AT&T network so you can
make a call. Or maybe try a zune phone (ha).

That's all I have to say about this one -
