Dreamhost.com has a subversion service now.

	plus - mod_svn access , rely on their backups and raiding, cheap,  
tons of space
	minus - you can't do fine-grained svn privs -- its per-repository  
permissions ( not per-path or other schema )

The big factor on all of the systems i've seen is how they implement  
permissions.

Depending on your needs, you may not need fine-grained access... or  
can 'fake' it by using multiple repositories each with their own  
permissions db
