Re: [newtech-1] EBITDA multiple for valuation

Alyssa, SaaS companies have very high EBITDA multiples typically. I would say 20 - 40x depending on your enterprise value and strength of your operating income. If you are looking for a proxy, I would use the mid of the range I gave you (30x) which for a startup is aggressive.

Most industries use a multiple of EBITDA to determine valuation. Each industry uses a different multiple, which is dependent on a number of factors.

We are trying to ascertain what the multiple would be for the industry of our startup. Specifically,  we want to determine what would be a reasonable EBITDA multiplier for a SAAS company?

Does anyone know this by chance?

Thank you,
