Subject: [newtech-1] Does anyone out there know of a good HTML batch editor program

Hi:

I have site with hundreds of pages in it. Most of the layout throughout the site is controled by external CSS but there are blocks of code like the tracker codes for the analytics which is just above the closing tag for the body on each page that would like to add or remove in bulk.

Do any of you know of a program or script I can do this with? Opening each page up one by one to do this is a real drag. Any info would be greatly appreciated by me.

Subject: [newtech-1] Innovative Web 2.0/next generation Technical Producer needed for project

My client needs a Technical Producer familiar with working in Java deployed on a WebLogic server.

This person should have expertise and ability to make recommendations for the following.

·   Leading an integrated co-development team in the development and design of the new site; consult closely with the Client’s online project manager, the client’s Internet Technologies staff and the client’s parent developers and programmers to develop this site;

·   Creation or integration of code, scripts, tools, widgets and applications necessary to create and maintain a reliable Internet site that is available 24/7/365 and mobile accessible;

·   Searchable database development, including content entry or conversion of client and third-party content associated with the site, plus site design, page layouts and graphics;

·   Creation or adaptation of a user profile that gathers and stores information about the user, analyzes the data and uses that analysis to deliver the right information at the right time;

·   Creation of a process to enable client’s online staff to change content requiring frequent updates;

·   Adherence to Web 2.0 or Next-Generation Internet principles — the creation of online communities          surrounding dining content and the development of both mobile and rich Internet applications. Dynamic functionality incorporating databases, forms, mapping, multimedia (Flash, video, audio), discussion forums and blogs.

·   Creation of a User Acceptance Testing process for all new development specific to the Internet site, including development of online prototypes and various segments prior to placement in production;

Candidate should also be able to help us with pricing separate line items for :

-         Implementation with projected future consulting efforts (include migration costs, if applicable)

-         Site creative design and development

-         Ongoing maintenance and support fees

-         Managed hosting charges with monthly recurring fees and initial setup fees, if applicable.

-         Non-recurring support fees or options

-         Disaster recovery options priced separately (if applicable)

-         Training and documentation expenses (if any)

-         Enhanced hosting optional services and fees for 7X[masked] uptime

-         Hourly support/consulting fees for hours not covered under the proposal

-         Additional services/data appends and costs

You will need to provide three current references and URLs with the following commonalities:

-         Number of page views, unique visitors, etc.

-         Number of functional modules (e.g. shopping, travel, etc.)

-         Database size and online transactions

-         Functions similar to the described list in Section 4

-         Implementation and hosting arrangements.

This project is starting ASAP!!
