Plus, you wouldn't be able to use those cases that are now being sold with extra battery power. You'll have to a case for a case for the phone. It's like wearing leggings, then thermals and then pants in the winter. Too many covers.

Hope the slate does not drain the battery. People who use phone often have always been unhappy about the battery life of IPhone, if the slate uses battery from iPhone then it would be a major turn off.
