Does anyone have a metric as to cost to build plant vs plant output? Apple has so much cash that any yield over treasury yields is a win. Assuming MAC US sales are half of the $3b in WW sales. 1.5b in sales 100mm in cost plus shipping costs. Wonder how numbers work.

Is healthcare a major factor in the high cost of manufacturing here?
I mean are employers required to provide healthcare for every worker?
Also will universal healthcare make any difference in this field?

Apple is serious about
They are already building the installations next to the Mexico/USA border wall, soon they will be ready to make a whole through the wall to ventilate
the building as well make easier for workers to come and go.
Outsourcing is something being worked on for 2 or 3 decades, there is no way to reverse it in the present conditions, a lot factors are intertwined,
there is no silver bullet or one size fits all here.
100 million? is enough to build a facility to produce the labels "Made in USA", yes the label is made in USA
