RE: [newtech-1] Yahoo Mail?

The new app they rushed last week out is not displaying email notifications on androids. Have to open the application to check for email.

I have a yahoo account. They dressed it up better. Still has major issues underneath such as:

constant timeouts

emails not displaying properly

if you have subfolders they now show the numbers of emails in those folders (if unread) in a non-bold font which makes them incredibly easy to miss

some strange "action" titled "relaxed, "slim", and "regular" (choosing any of these options spaces the list of messages a little)

if you have more emails in any of your views, the scroll bar doesn't even resemble a scrollbar any more (this was just plain annoying as I had no idea that they had added this

ghost attachment button that is displayed IN the list of messages, can't see it, but it's there, very weird

They should have rolled it out like they rolled out previous versions and allow you to switch between this "new" look and the one that was there before.

Did they push this just to say that they made the colors  a little more muted?

When I saw the new interface I thought they'd accidentally pushed a beta build by accident
