Agreed Damion:

It is terribly sad and makes one wonder in the US today can we truly become a butterfly from chrysalis.

I sometimes feel like giving up on the US and moving to the UK where my wife lived for a time, he wasn't even older like you and I are.  Law suits, law suits, law suits. At least the UK you can potentially be taken as an force of good and innovation become they desire it and are friendly to innovators (probably also because they are not a full-on --capitalist society like ours). --A place where one is not terrorized by federal indictments and  law suits left and right.

" civil disobedience "is always necessary --we live in a kinda' of new bronze age, I think. Petty nations with tiny brains and tinier innovations. I chuckle that we have Piers Morgan, Christiane Amanpour and Fareed Zakaria delivering our English commentary news shows as if Americans who were born, lived and trained in the United States cannot.    scrubbed clean news anyway.

RSS was a game changer. What internet was meant to do .

" I went to the woods to live deliberately , to confront only the bare essentials of life and to see if I could not learn what it had to teach; and not, that when I had come to die to discover that I had not lived".

We are today a kindof' bloated monarchy.

I have been hesitant to write about this and spent most of the day in avoidance by sleeping, as I cannot even speak of it without bawling. It has left me so sad/angry. Aside from good-gawd-how-many friends taking their lives in the past ~decade -- each as* brilliant as the others -- the path to Aaron's passing especially infuriates me. He is a recent friend upon reaching out after his shenanigans at MIT. Chiefly among others, it was a stupid decision in support of his objectives, but it made him that much more beautiful. This is not to suggest that anyone is above the law, but his cause for us was worthy of his defense in disobedience -- it shed light where there was none. Still, not worth his life. I know that the burden of his case overwhelmed him, which saddens me further. I am battle hardened by lawsuits -- always against me for something someone wants to take away. I believe that it could have been managed. FUCK.

I will always miss him. This is a colossal loss for all of us -- RIP Aaron.
