re:[newtech-1] Logo Design - LogoTournament

Hi Mark:

Thank you so much for your recommendation about LogoTournament site.

I would like to share with the community that my experience has been the great one, too.  I will be selecting the finalist over this weekend for Ampleen, my social enterprise for urban green living.

I recommend http://logotournament.com/ for anyone who is looking for a creative & high quality logo.  My 2 cents through my experience is that you want to be clear about the concept that you are looking for prior the contest.   More feedback you can give to designers, the better the result will be.

Using 99Designs for crowd sourcing is one option but they do have a logo store which is much different. It's a collection of already created logo's. In the latter case, there's not question as to what you'll get since you already see the logo.

Ive used 99designs twice and sometimes I was surprised by the results I got from those whose prior work was only ordinary. Working with designers is a skill set that I dont do a lot with.

Miles, I would recommend looking at the already designed logo's first to see if any meet the needs. Cheap, easy and fast.
