That attitude offends just about every member (100s) of Meetup I've ever met.

There are a lot of places you can go for similar functionality -- if
what your money is being used for, on the part of "THE MEETUP" and NOT
"MEETUP.COM", is not transparent, then people can, should and will
start their own meetups or move to other venues and organizations.

I think we need to be clear about the differences, too, between
Meetup.com and "a Meetup".
