Stripe is amazing for developers - and the CEO has been very accessible via Twitter.
Really straightforward API. Also affordable. From their site:  - 2.9% + 30 cents per successful charge..
"Stripe handles everything, including storing cards, subscriptions, and direct payouts to your bank account."

For companies that have more serious (enterprise-level) recurring revenue, I recommend Vindicia (
They're fantastic for big data analytics around subscription revenue (optimizing revenue once your numbers are high enough.)

Today I was implementing a recurring subscription for a product I'm going to release locally in New York City. I already have two clients interested in using it; not big money just around $200/month for each.

Initially I was looking at Chargify, but the price and what it offered was more than I needed. I remember when Stripe first came out and I didn't think nothing of it. Today was really my first experience with their platform and the API.

It's the type of product that makes you want to build systems you can charge for since accepting payments isn't only easy, but fun. A simple API with client libraries in different languages. I really don't know why I haven't looked at them in a while.

Enjoy or troll this e-mail ;) Either way have a blast.
