Re: [newtech-1] design contest

Having given my feedback on your Poll, let me congratulate you for being very clear in the image you want. It is so evident that the designer was given a very focused brief to work upon. Therefore I see the consistency in the communication across all logos.

I have seen the comments also on the God figure or Ganesha - having a long background in advertising in global agencies such as J Walter Thompson and Grey, I can reassure you that if the overall logo does not convey a religious message ( hope you understand what I mean), the logo will convey its visual content more than the interpretation of what it means or represents. For instance I don't see the 'apple' in the Apple logo! Nor do I see the Clown in Mc Donald's.

Thats my two bits..

Hi folks,

I'd totally appreciate any of your feedback to help us weed down the final 8 designs (from 99designs) for our new logo. (It's been a fun design contest, but really hard to keep up with!)

I've got a poll created here:

A bit about us:
Our values are represented with the Ganesha (the elephant in the logo) - as the "Remover of Obstacles" and "Lord of Beginning."
The business - Enterprise Agile training and coaching. The focus of our services extend beyond R&D, with services covering from concept to cash.
Colors - purple, orange for creativity
Location - East coast, however we spend most of our time in Berlin lately.

Thank you kindly,
