We have a Creative Director opportunity located in New York. The
Creative Director will lead and manage a fast paced department
consisting of designers, writers, developers and flash artists who are
responsible for creating an online shopping experience that maximizes
sales and drives retention.
Your primary goal will be to lead the creative strategy by defining,
approving and enforcing the web site's creative look & feel, new
functionality, content, photography, copywriting and navigation, all
with best practices and standards. The successful candidate will have
the ability to formulate and effectively communicate a vision for the
web experience to the entire team and all levels of management. You
will need a well-rounded understanding of online design, information
architecture, usability, technology, functional and experience design.
Very strong management skills necessary along with strong process
improvement. As the Creative Director team collaboration with business
managers, production, and technology leads are all part of the daily
responsibilities and duties
This position will be focused on driving high creative standards and
coordination in offline and external internet creative, including
advertising, email and company collateral. Passion for customer focus,
great design, usability, and converting browsers to customers is a
priority. This position reports directly to the division SVP.
