… what's needed next to support long term recovery
… what we need to better prepare for the next disaster, and what’s needed to allow us to respond more effectively
11am - 12:30am: Project Pitches Hackathon Kick-off: Team Creation, API & Platforms Overview
Saturday December 1, 1:30pm to 6:30pm. Various Co-Working Spaces and offices around NYC, including General Assembly, NYU Poly Incubator - Varick St, and others to be announced this week. (Check out the Hacker League page as well)

Saturday 7pm to 9pm: Pizza “Thank You” Dinner for Relief Workers and Hackers Location To Be Announced

5pm to 7:30pm: Sandy #NYTechResponds Fundraising Campaign Kick-off Event
Hackathon prizes include (as of 11/20/2012 ... more forthcoming as confirmed):
$1000 in total monetary prizes in the "open" (all hack) category for winners to allocate out to the disaster relief agencies of their choice
30 minutes with a partner at ff Ventures to make your pitch ("open" category prize)
Two $500 cash prizes in the energy category, to be selected and awarded by NYSERDA
