Dialogue between Pagan Witches and Satanists

This location is shown only to members

General discussion about Pagan Witchcraft and Satanism/"Left Hand Path". We hope this will be the beginning of an ongoing dialogue.

Modern Pagans and Satanists both are very misunderstood by the general public and hated by the religious right wing.

Pagans often talk about Satanism, out of a perceived need to distinguish themselves from Satanists. But most Pagans don’t know much about Satanism (of which there are many different kinds) and often misrepresent it. As a result, there has been much hostility between Pagans and Satanists.

If you're a Pagan: Learn about the real differences – and similarities – which will surprise many Pagans. (For some preliminary information, see What is Satanism? and Diane Vera's Theistic Satanism site, especially the section To Wiccans and other Pagans and occultists.)

If you're a Satanist: It is very important for Satanists, of all kinds, to reach out to and be better understood by the Pagan community, because (1) there are many closet Satanists in the Pagan community and (2) we need alliances against our common enemy, the Christian religious right wing.

Location and how to find us: We'll be meeting at a diner on 23rd Street between 6th and 7th Avenues, closer to 7th. (The exact address, and other details, will be visible to you once you join this Meetup group.) The nearest subway stop is 23rd Street on the 1, 2, and 3 lines (7th Avenue). Other nearby subway stops are 23rd Street on the F line (6th Avenue), and 23 Street on the E and C lines (8th Avenue).

Ask a waiter for "New Yorkers Against Religion-Based Bigotry."

We'll be at a table (or possibly a booth) near the BACK of the diner. There will be some NYARBB literature on the table.
