I am trained as an engineer and lawyer (Cornell). I live and work in Manhattan. I helped found and manage two enterprise software companies that were sold to BMC Software.
Which industry are you closest associated with, professionally?
Finance (investing), technology, software, start-ups/entrepreneurship. I have significant technical knowledge about wireless spectrum, software and technology.
How are you involved with BI?
I am working on a website utilizing BI.
What BI topics are of interest to you?
MongoDB vs MySQL vs NoSQL
How did you discover NYBI? (search, word of mouth, advertisement, etc)
I previously attended the New York Big Data Nerd meetup, and when I logged onto my Meetup account, it suggested NYBI as a featured meetup.
