That's an interesting question.
Despite the finer points of timing that seem to be involved here, I would avoid
charting abstract moments like the reading of a profile on a monitor or an
e-mail. Writing can and should reflect the real person, but so often does not;
plus, there are too many opportunities in the cyber world to distance ourselves
from one another. I feel that the actual 1st meeting is what should be charted.
In the same way we can't sense "chemistry" until a face-to-face, I think
astrology should be looking at the human moment, not the cyber moment. And since
a clear question is hard to frame until that moment when we find the chemistry
is there, I would be suspicious of a horary, too.
I see by your placements that we
have a few things in common. I am also Cap rising, w. Virgo Sun in 8 partile
squared by Saturn
(and I was also born in the Saturn decanate of
Virgo -- and on a Saturday). My saving graces are the close conjunction of Moon
and Jupiter in 7 in Cancer.

This is a question for the prediction buffs. I have a friend who
started doing online dating. In the past I have done charts of first meeting
for her. Since the online service allows you to email with each other, their
first meeting has actually been online via email. I can't figure out
when their first meeting is.
The online service does a matching with participants and sends out a list
to the parties involved. She opened up this list and sent out a series of
question to this guy at time A. He read and answered the questions at time B.
To my way of thinking, time B is the time of their first meeting.
Do you think so as well? I can't decide if I should use that time or if I
should just do a horary for the time that she asked me the question to make a
chart for her about this fellow. What would you choose?
