The Brooklyn Bee Apiary is having its second and last harvest this year. It's ready now, but I'm going on vacation until Sept. 22. The honey is dark and rich. Hoping you can make it. Because of the smallness of my honey room I have to severely limit the number of people, so RSVP soon!

you can learn a lot from chats but you have to get your hands into the pie to really understand how things work, every time, only 2 so far , we attend the hives, you are learning, but for me, it always raises more questions, like the way the direction the opening should face, didn't ask but probably south, would it work good in the shade, partial shade ? different colonies battle ? many more, don't know. learn correct way to remove the stinger with your fingernail not squash it, gone in minutes

its amazing to see so many cells filed with honey, must be solid when the busy little bees wax over them and then later turn to liquid or it would all run out, have to ask john

It was great to experience the harvesting of honey step by step along with experts and novices.
