Yes, I would bee interested in joining a course in Beekeeping 101. I live in Manhattan near 14th Street so I can get just about anywhere pretty easily... except the Upper East Side. At the moment, week nights would be the most convinient, but not sure for how long, as I have a part-time job and am "on call".... The closer we get to Christmas the more problematical this will become. Also, I would be willing to pay a minimum fee per class, but not all up front. And I will keep an ear open to a space.

We are thinking of starting a formal course in "Getting Started in Beekeeping" later in the year (the "off-season"). Would you be interested in enrolling in such a hands-on course? Bear in mind, we haven't figured out a venue yet. Where do you live? What borough/neighborhood would be most convenient for you? We need to develop a demographic sense of interested members. Also, would you be able to pay a not very large amount to cover costs? Finally, if you know of any places with a large room that rents to non-profits at a minimal cost, could you let us know?
