Reminder - Beekeeping Class Sunday Jan 11 at NINE AM (9:00am!)

From: Jim and J.
Sent on: Friday, January 9, 2009 12:41 AM
Just a reminder, Sunday's Beekeeping class will be at
Oh-Nine-Hundred Hours, so set those alarm clocks!

We are promised by NYC Parks that the rest of the
classes can be at 11am, for sure.

Several new members have joined since the first class,
so let me repeat the basic information below:

1) The class is free (or no more than a few dollars per student, depending
on what the Parks department charges for the lecture hall).

2) Classes are being held every Sunday at

The Arsenal
In Central Park
Just North of Central Park Zoo Entrance
at 64th St and 5th Ave

830 5th Ave, New York, NY
3rd Floor Gallery

Go down the steps from 5th Ave,
walk straight ahead, then down the
steps to the basement level. Ring
bell if door locked, otherwise take
the elevator to the 3rd floor.

3) Nearby Subway Stops:

F Train - to 57th St Station (6th Ave & 57th St)

F Train - to Lexington Ave - 63rd St Station (Lex Ave & 63rd St)

6 Train to 68th St - Hunter College Station (Lex Ave & 68th St)

NRW Trains - to 5th Ave Station (5th Ave & 60th)

4) What To Bring

a) Notebook and pen/pencil.

b) Maybe a clipboard, as there will be
chairs, but no tables or desks.

c) Coffee, water, whatever. We have
no budget for refreshments.

5) Download the textbooks using the URLs below:
