Jerry Hayes' popular column: "The Classroom," has appeared regularly in ABJ for over two decades and has been compiled into a book. He has been credited on numerous research papers, a couple of which we've linked below.
From 2003 to 2011 Jerry was Chief of the Apiary Inspection Section for the Florida Department of Agriculture And Consumer Services. Before that, he worked for many years at Dadant as Director of New Product Development And Marketing, He has served as president of the Apiary Inspectors of America and of the Heartland Apiculture Association.
He now works for Beeologics, which developed Remebee, an RNAi approach to silencing Israeli Paralysis Virus.
Beeologics was acquired by Monsanto in 2012 and continues to focus on developing products for bee health.
Jerry is Beeologics Commercial Lead.
