Hive Inspection and (Possible) Mite Treatment

Gorgeous, Tastey and Aromatic! Bees just keep on working the task at hand. Namaste.

Sampled the honey, chewed a little wax, stroked a bee while surveying the mite results. It was my first fascinating micro-introduction to a wealth of knowledge waiting for all. The bees couldn't have been more welcoming. Dozens in the air surveying the scene , the rest went about their business in and on the various hive segments. All in all lending vivid definition to the old descriptor Busy Bees. This shot as you may recognize, is the inside of one hive's lid-Tho there is perhaps a more appropriate term which I've yet to learn. Thanks John and LeeAnn!
