THIS IS OUR MAIN MONTHLY MEETUP - mostly casual match play, usually attended by 25-35 players.

Please bring a board if you have one, though if you don't, we do have a few extra boards available. New members: introduce yourself to any of the organizers (Rod, Rich, Julia and Lynn); to get you started we'll find someone to pair you up with for your first match. After your first match, please feel free to seek out available players to meet and play, throughout the night, just ask if someone would like to play.

Players looking to take their understanding of the game to a higher level can request "Clinic Matches" as offered by resident Backgammon Giant, Richard Munitz.

    Hi Jay,

I'm pretty sure that all of the organizers and many of the members would be happy to teach you the basics of the game, including me.
Just show up and introduce yourself. We 'lake care of the rest;-)

I do not know how to play backgammon but would like very much to learn. I wasn't sure if you teach new comers. If not, I would appreciate if you can tell me where I can learn to play. Thanks. Jay
