It's been a while since our last event. Let's show the cold weather who's boss by getting on our bikes and taking a trip down to Jacques Torres in DUMBO for some chocolate (hot or otherwise, though the Wicked Hot Chocolate is a must-try). Also, if you know someone who likes chocolate, this will be a great opportunity for some last-minute holiday shopping.

This is a one-way ride to Brooklyn - getting home is your responsibility.

WHO: cyclists who can deal with a little cold weather, have experience riding in city traffic, can keep up a moderate (not necessarily fast) pace, and like chocolate-based products

WHAT: chocolate at Jacques Torres

WHEN: Sunday Dec 17th, 2pm

WHERE: meet at the above time at Washington Square Park, north side, at the arches. (Same as last ride.) I'll be waiting at the arches with my red KHS track bike. We'll depart at 2:10 or so, take the west side bike path down and the Manhattan bridge over to DUMBO.

WHY: Hot chocolate seems very season-appropriate, and Jacques Torres does it right.
