Bike n' Bites: Island Hopping - Bike and BBQ Tour

It's time for another Culinary Bike and Bite tour!

This time we will start in the Upper East Side and make our way to Queens where we will tour around Roosevelt Island and then head to The Strand Smokehouse in Astoria for some delicious BBQ and beer! After lunch, if we are not in full food coma mode, we'll make our way over the RFK bridge to Randall's Island to work off some of that brisket!

What to Bring:
Bike
Helmet
Bike Lock
Money for food/drinks

20 Mile Bike Route:
11:00 am - Meet at Le Moulin a Cafe 1439 York Ave (Between 76th and 77th) for a delicious croissant and coffee
11:30am - Entrance to East River Esplanade at 82nd St and East End. Ride to 60th street
12:00pm - 2nd Ave entrance to 59th bridge into Queens and make our way to Vernon Blvd 12:15pm - Head north on Vernon Blvd to Roosevelt Island Bridge
12:30-1:45pm - Ride the loop around Roosevelt Island - stopping to sight-see at Light House and FDR Four Freedoms Park
1:45-2:00pm - Ride back over Roosevelt Island bridge and head north on Vernon Blvd to The Strand Smokehouse at 25-27 Broadway
2:00-4:00pm - Enjoy BBQ and Beer!
4:00-5:00pm - Head north on 21st St to RFK bridge over to Randall's Island for a nice loop around
5:00-5:30pm - Take 103rd St Bridge to East Rive Esplanade and Ride down to where we started at 82nd St.
