in process of moving to NYC from S. Cal, will be here full time this summer. my bike is already here full time! love to eat, love to ride, love to meet people who love to eat and ride. this group sounds great!
Trek 7300 hybrid. I've been riding for years but am more of a social rider, about 12 mph average, but with good endurance for long rides, especially when there is good food at the end of the ride!
the kind i can eat :) favorites are things that taste home-made. must admit to a weakness for sweets.
the donut holes with the caramel sauce at stanton social in LES or one last cannoli at ferrara's? or maybe a knish at yonah schimmel's? oh god, i'd better not go to the electric chair - far too much to eat!
TONY - i subscribe even though, up til now, i've lived in san diego. i think i know more about what goes on in NYC than in san diego, and now i'll be here to actually do it rather than just read about it. wooooh hooooo!
Good to see you too, Leslie! I'm really enjoying getting to experience some new places through your group.
Thanks for the welcome! Looking forward to the meeting. See you son.
not sure!...moving tonight
I saw that, too bad the place looks beautiful. OK then, I'll keep an eye out for the next one
I am excited to find this group. I have a roof garden in our co-op on the UWS - we're still getting it started, and now the Board is concerned about using a Shade Sail and I'm trying to find out what the city regulations are regarding umbrellas and shade structures on rooftops. Anybody know? The Buildings Dept has been a big run-around.
yes - this is a great idea. looking forward to the first meetup! let me know if i can help with any planning.
Hi, Leslie, I will bring wine if i am accepted. Hope so!!! Rochelle!!!!!
Thank you again, Leslie, for being such a kind, friendly host at this Saturday's seed swap meeting! I enjoyed meeting you all, and sampling some of those nice goodies in the kitchen, of course! By the way, if you'd like to know more about the many diverse, exciting and affordable baroque and early music concerts in the city, please visit: http://www.polyphony.com or http://gemsny.org/ for more on historical performance by some of my colleagues, NYC's TOP performers of baroque music! :)
I have a number of architects that are involved in Green roofs and their construction, ranging from waterproofing to structural matters. The missing component to our group are the actual gardeners. Is there a way we can get you and your group involved? If so please email me at [masked]
hi Leslie. We haven't met yet but i am eager to get going, what with the onslaught of March, at weeks end! i have a Terrace garden under way here in Greenpoint, that i'd love to share with the group! just letting you know, and saying hello, as i patiently wait for the warmth to return and my gigantic Clematis order to arrive!!
