Hello Edward,

Don't know if I'm the individual you're seeking below, as I'm not a CS person or generalist; but I AM looking to leave Moody's ASAP, so possibly you can look over my CV and let me know if you're interested.

Best regards,
Dave

Subject: [nyc-fsharp] Opportunity

Hi all,

I wanted to reach out to the members of this group with regards to an exciting opportunity in the Investment Banking world.

I have been retained by a Tier 1 Investment Bank to secure a senior technologist to lead part of their Global Quant Team. This individual will be responsible for driving innovation and change for the fixed income quant team globally.  The main focus of the role is to ensure that the technology used within the group and the architecture of the systems remains ahead of the competition.

If there is a new technology that becomes available or is starting to be used within the industry, you will be responsible for evaluating it as a viable business solution, presenting the idea to senior members of the business/IT and then managing a team of senior architects / technologists to successfully drive the change. You must be comfortable in setting technical road maps, developing complex system architecture and still have an active interest in remaining fully hands on with new languages and technologies themselves.

If you are interested then please do get in touch on the details below.  My organisation is currently based in London, but we operate globally.  This role can be based in NYC or London.

I look forward to speaking with you.

Kind regards

Edward Booty
