NYC F# User Group News and Events

Hello F#ers,

First up, I want to say that I'm proud of Paul and Steve for stepping up and speaking at our last group event.  They did a great job and I found myself wishing that they had been able to do a full session each.

If you feel like you might want to speak for either a full group meeting or just half of one, please let me know.

You can find videos of their appearances here:
An F# case study: fs-zmq with Paulmichael Blasucci
Design Patterns In F# with Steve Goguen

Second, there's an upcoming meetup of the HPC & GPU Supercomputing Meetup
Group of New York in which they'll be featuring F#.  I hope you'll check it out.

Finally, I'm looking for someone to hire for a position at Bayard Rock in Maplewood NJ.  We'd like to find someone who either already knows F# or is very proficient with C#'s functional features to help me build and maintain software for entity resolution and machine learning.  We primarily work with banks to find potential money launderers, but have other projects on the horizon.  Let me know if you're interested!
