New York City F# User Group Message Board › Upcoming Meetings and Ideas
I hope you're all looking forward to Jeffry Borror's sessions as much as I am. It will be exciting to see a whole batch of F# users in the making.
You should know though that the second meeting's is content built on the first and so you should come to both if at all possible. I know it's asking a lot to take two of your evenings in a row, but by having the meetings so close together I think you will find the information much easier to absorb.
Also, I'm working on putting together a meeting consisting of several of our own group members each covering a different topic in short 20-30 minute talks. If there's some particular aspect of functional programming you find particularly interesting and want to share with the other members of the group, let me know. No previous speaking experience is necessary and it's completely ok if you aren't that comfortable with F# in particular. I don't mind helping out with the code examples at all.
