More information is available online at There will also be a breakfast meeting in New York the week of May 18th to present detailed information.

The initiative to organize the Clean Tech Open is currently being led by Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (, the premier provider of legal services to technology, life sciences, and growth enterprises worldwide. The firm advises nearly half of the most active clean tech venture funds that have been committed to the sector over the past five years.

The NY and DC offices of WSGR are recruiting entrepreneurs and contestants, as well as volunteers and mentors, to participate in the California competition for 2009, while we start work on organizing a separate competition for the Northeast in 2010. East coast participants in the California competition will be able to participate in almost all of the aspects of the California competition, including business workshops, mentoring, symposium, and networking, either via video-conferencing or through local programming.
