I think performing in front of people is important to improve your playing skills and confidence. I was in an open-mic here before and enjoyed the support and felt very comfortable.
I have performed before. However, not that often in recent years.
I started playing when I was young. I enjoyed listening to music. I took to the blues genre. I wanted to play like the Greats.
What is most important is to enjoy performing and meet other musicians.
Hi, I'm Andrew Anka. I've been playing the guitar from around ten years old. The very first song I learned was Red River Valley. Originally, I taught myself to play. I wanted to learn more guitar theory. Various attempts failed 'til NYCGS.
