For anyone interested in improving their algorithm skills, check out topcoder --> http://community.topcoder.com/t... And then you can click on the Division 1 Success Rate (header of one of the columns), to sort from easiest to difficult, and then choose any problem, according to Division 1 Level. I'm starting with Division 1 for both categories :-/

I realized I need to improve on my algorithm skills, and have found this very helpful the past few days. Let me know if anyone wants to work on any problem.

Would anyone like to meet Thu &/or Fri (3/14, 3/15) for 1 hour or so at Starbucks at 15th Street and Park Ave (aka Union Square East) at the long table closest to the Park? There are no electrical outlets (so have your laptop charged), and for a cup of coffee ($2-$3) you can code together and solve Objective C assignments together.

Here's a frustrating factoid: "Martin Mandl (2 days ago) - Last summer 12.000 started, about 5 posted the final project in time, and then about 20 in the following weeks ." on Piazza. That's a 99% fail rate, which exceeds almost any endeavor I've ever heard about. I think our "support group" at Slalom is useful; as in "it's not your fault", which was even in the 2013 Oscars, where Seth "MacFarlane slipped in a Good Will Hunting-esque, “It's not your fault."

(if you've seen the movie "Good Will Hunting"):

(if you haven't seen the movie "Good Will Hunting" about a math prodigy who abandons academia for working class squalor):

Meanwhile, I'm still working on Assignment 1, having done Required Tasks 1 & 2, and working on 3 (out of 7) Required Tasks.

I can email anyone my xcode file to help you get started with setting up the 'empty application' and all the initialization - it's really quick and simple.
