As a part of worldwide Rails 3.1 hackfest weekend, please see details in the below link

http://weblog.rubyonrails.org/2011/7/14/rails-3-1-hackfest

Peer programming is a great way to learn and build stuf, so bring your laptop to hack away.

How does the Hackfest work?

1. One minute talk about your project idea.

2. Self-selecting and grouping

3. Hack! Hack! Hack!

4. One minute show and tell in the end

Duration: 10am -5 PM

    Danie,
Setting up a RoR development environment can be a challenge (particularly if your experience is building console applications in windows). If you want to get started before you get to the hackfest. Look at Chapter 1:

@Linda and Avi, apologies if this violates any meetup etiquette.

    Best,
    Evan

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
