Re: [ruby-75] Hiring a Rails Developer Hi Steve!

I wanted to see if you have any current openings that you need candidates for.

Please let me know and if so I can give you a call to discuss the opening(s).

Subject: [ruby-75] Hiring a Rails Developer

Hello all,

We are hiring one rails developer for a three month contract, maybe longer.? The gig will be on site, in our Chelsea office, although we are also talking to telecommuters.?

If you know a good developer looking for work, please forward this on.? The information is below.

Thanks,

-Steve

US
We are a fast growing software licensing company, developing three products:

Community Review System
Currently used by:
http://urbis.com (our own consumer platform)
http://discover.genart.org

Reputation and Rating System
(clients still in stealth mode)
The application is built in C, but the interface is in Ruby (there are not many remaining requirements for this application).

Content Management System
Currently used by:
http://genart.org
http://densitydynamics.com

YOU

  • You are an individual, not a consulting company
  • You have experience building Ruby on Rails applications and have good, solid code to prove it.?
  • You're familiar with agile strategies like RSpec and story-based planning.?
  • You are obsessed with REST.? Or at least like it a lot.
  • You know your way around a Git repository.?
  • CSS doesn't scare you.?
  • You can play well with others in the same room or halfway across the country.?
  • Ideally you live in New York city, and would enjoy working in a beautiful Chelsea office.? Telecommuters are ok too.
