The fundamental goal of all acting, voice, singing and movement classes at our school is to prepare you to do amazing work, or improve your work. The side-effect, in general, is you will be more likely get an agent and do amazing auditions for the most powerful casting directors, and get work in film, television or theater. But, your focus as a beginner must be on developing your personal vision as an artist with something to contribute to the lives of audiences!

It is not required you intend to be a professional to study at our school, as long as you're fully committed to the work and we do consider absolute beginners. Give us a call for a phone interview after reading what's below.

We accept students into this class anytime there are openings.

• You cultivate moment-to-moment living as an actor, learning to connect with other actors through improvisation and relationship building.

• You do powerful individual acting exercises designed to "free" and develop your body, voice, emotional expression and imagination.

• Jason Bennett's lectures cover many vital topics -- script analysis; major themes in movies and plays; rehearsal techniques; psychology relevant to acting; the interpersonal ethics of a professional actor; characterization tools; researching a role; the actor's voice, body, imagination; -- and more.
