Compassionate Leafleting at the Brooklyn Half Marathon.

The average person eats about 50 farmed animals per year (about 27 land animals, and dozens of aquatic animals), adding up to thousands in a lifetime. Leafleting with literature on factory farming has been proven effective in creating new vegans and vegetarians, and convincing others to reduce their consumption of animal products. By educating the public about animals suffering on factory farms, we can inspire others to spare thousands, if not millions, of animals and ultimately create a more compassionate society.

Join us as we reach out to the runners who will start finishing the race at the Coney Island Boardwalk a little after 8am. Details on the race here (http://www.nyrr.org/races-and-events/2013/brooklyn-half-marathon)

For more information on this event, please email Tom at [masked] or call him at [masked]. Please RSVP as that will help us determine the correct number of leaflets to bring. We will also notify you if we have to cancel the event due to bad weather.
