Is there anything cooler than simultaneously supporting one of our favorite vegan organizations, the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary
and getting to stuff your face with So Delicious
ice cream? I say, definitely not. So join us on Sunday, August 8th for the Little Vegan Monsters' second all-you-can-eat dessert fundraiser in New Haven, CT.
From the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary website:
If you missed last spring?s all-you-can-eat vegan dessert freakout, well, you are one sorry mofo.
Now?s your chance to redeem yourself at this August 8th all-you-can-eat vegan ice cream social, brought to you by the motley crew of Little Vegan Monsters
and kindly hosted by Fuel Coffee
. And if you?re not feeling social, that?s cool, too ? just roll yourself into a fetal position and eat lots and lots of ice cream. Cool, baby.
WFAS Director Jenny Brown will be there to meet and greet and identify chocolate stains.Advance tix can be ordered here
. The event is $12 in advance, $16 at the door.
Thanks to Lourdes Jovel and Anthony Acock for putting this together, Fuel Coffee for hosting it, and Turtle Mountain/So Delicious for their generous donations.
The Amtrak ($15-$40 one-way) and the Metro-North ($14 one-way) both go direct from New York to New Haven, and the Fuel Coffee shop is a quick walk, bike ride, bus ride, or cab ride from the train station.
Jenna will be reppin' the NYC Animal Advocacy Network for the full three hours (and combating ice cream headache) and then taking the 8:11pm Amtrak train back home, so stop by and say hello.
