Chickens Can Fly Workshop for teachers of grades pre-k to 12 at United Federation of Teachers headquarters at 52 Broadway (Wall Street area), 9:45 am to 1 pm. Join us for a unique opportunity in learning to incorporate creative and interdisciplinary lessons about chickens, pigs and cows and other animals raised on farms, into classroom programs. Also vegetarian and vegan food options. The workshop fee is $8 and includes a packet of outstanding materials for one selected grade level as well as 3 hours of professional development credit.
